Dr. Nabin Kumar Pattnaik Vitreo - Retinal Centre & Lasik Centre has received his M.B.B.S degree from VSS Medical College, Orissa in 1970. He trained at Christian Medical College, Vellore. He was obtained his MD in Ophthalmology from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre. For Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS,  NEW DELHI in 1978. He was formerly at Dr. R.P. Centre (AIIMS) and Sir Gangaram Hospital. And presently director and chief eye surgeon at Dr. Pattnaik's Laser Eye Institute. He is specialist in Such as Phaco, vitreo-retinal, Lasik Laser, Cornea Transplantation, Dio-Laser, Yag Laser etc.

  Dr. Pattnaik has bagged several award, delivered oration and has several publication and books to his credit. His pivotal role has been in the development of Dr. Pattnaik's Laser Eye Institute such as referral  Vitreo-Retinal Centre & Lasik Centre  in New Delhi. (C-2 Lajpat Nagar-3). He had published several scientific papers. Especially in Laser surgery and vitreo-retinal surgery in various national and international journals. In addition to having authored well known books Lasers in Ophthalmology. Vitreo-retinal surgery (Principles and Techniques) During his 30 years of practice in the field of Ophthalmology, he has accumulated extensive knowledge and experience, which he is trying to share with others through his publication. Still He has visited a large number of countries in the world to give lectures and participate in international ophthalmic conferences etc.
  1. He was honoured with Bharat Jyoti Award 2003 for his outstanding work in the field of Ophthalmology.
  2. DR. R.N. SABHARWAL GOLD MEDAL AWARDED IN THE YEAR 2003 to 2010 (7 YEARS).
  3. At present working as advisior of CAHO ---- (Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations) "IMPROVING PATIENT CARE "
  4. Recently he was award such as IIRSI special Gold Medal by Intra-ocular implant & refractive society, India at Chennai 2014 as Best Eye-Surgeon.
  5. Gold Medal – DOS - 2018
  6. Honoured  at ACOIN Delhi – 2019
  7. Secretary General of Foundation of Ophthalmic and Optometry Research Education Centre – working on a project “ All India Paramedical Institute” at Faridabad
  8. Still Written two books “ Laser in Ophthalmology and Vitreo Retinal Test Book for the benefit of students.
  9.  Helping up lifting Such as Ophthalmic, DPLEI, Shanti Mukund Hospital, East Delhi as Hony. Advisior.
